Date Night Outfit Planning: My Tricks for Feeling Confident and Chic

Hey fashion lovers! I am excited to have a few date nights lined up for February. As someone who likes to plan, I am already thinking about my outfits. But let's be real… we've all been there when we feel like we have nothing to wear, and it can be a real mood killer.

I believe that when you look good, you feel good, and it exudes from every pore. That's why I like to preplan my outfits to avoid that last-minute rush. One of the things that I do when planning my outfit is to consider the aesthetic of the location. I have a whole blog post about my tips for matching your attire to the aesthetic of a location, so be sure to check that out.

Next, I think about the mood I want to convey. Am I feeling dark and grunge, feminine and dainty, edgy or sexy? I also think about the practicality of it all, like am I in the mood to wear pants, a skirt, or a dress? Do I feel bloated and want to wear something loose or am I in a figure-shaping mood? It's all about finding that balance and being true to yourself in the moment. I ask myself these questions and narrow them down to two options. From there, I search for looks that fit that mood. I pull those looks and boom, I am ready to go.

Right now, I am feeling a mix of sexy, feminine, light, and dark. I guess you can say I am experiencing a bit of a mood swing! lol I've pulled together some inspo photos, so please help me choose and let me know in the comments which one you like more.
