Family Elegance: Coordinated Glamour for the New Year

Hey, fashionistas! Happy New Year to everyone! I've been away for a bit, but I'm back and super excited to catch up. My upcoming blog will spill all the latest from my end, but right now, let me dive into our amazing New Year's Eve plans and dish out all the style details.

You all know how much I love styling my family to match and look fab. It all started with Grayson's outfit—a striking grey check-tailored 3-piece suit. I played around with a few ideas and settled on something between dressy and casual: a sharp white Calvin Klein button-up shirt with white sneakers.

Once Grayson was sorted, my attention turned to my 17-year-old daughter, Gianna. She's not big on dresses, so I aimed for an ensemble that oozed confidence and comfort. Imagine this: a white silk crop bandanna cowl neck cami with dazzling rhinestone straps, paired with high-waisted wide-leg grey sequin pants, a sleek black faux fur coat, and those stunning Amina Muaddi Rosie glass sling heels. I was nervous about her reaction, given how tough teenagers can be, but when she tried it on, she adored it! Phew! Ensuring the kids love their outfits is always my top priority.

With the family rocking gorgeous whites and greys, it was Mom and Dad's turn. Here's a personal update: after stopping birth control, my body's gone through changes, and comfort is key now. Dress shopping, which I usually do in advance, happened just a week before NYE. Surprise, surprise—the dresses turned out a bit too revealing for my new curves. Cue the panic! However, my heart was set on these stunning yet comfy black platform patent leather heels, the xRevolve April platform by House of Harlow from Revolve.

To match those heels, I grabbed some opaque black pantyhose and took a chance on a new brand for me: Oh Polly. I settled on a strapless sweetheart lace-up corset bodice and full tulle skirt in black. It had to arrive in less than five days and fit perfectly. Miraculously, it arrived just in time on the Saturday before NYE. Total dream!

My incredible husband and I decided to roll with a black-and-white theme that perfectly complemented the kids' looks. He rocked a stylish black-and-white checkered suit paired effortlessly with a crisp white button-up shirt and those sleek black leather Ferragamo shoes.

Our restaurant pick was a jackpot. Estiatorio Milos in Hudson Yards was a stunning, family-friendly spot. Picture a seafood joint decked out with captivating Greek-inspired decor and offering a mesmerizing view of the Hudson Yards vessel. Alongside us were my sister-in-law, her husband, and their charming four-year-old twins, Ari and Sebby—Grayson's closest cousins. Their love for seafood made the evening extra special, and the flawless service made it an unforgettable night for all of us.

What's your go-to style strategy for special occasions? Do you prioritize comfort or dive into daring fashion choices? I'd love to hear about your fashion adventures and how you make celebrations stylishly yours!

May the new year be filled with endless moments of joy, style, and unforgettable adventures for you and your loved ones. Here’s to a dazzling year ahead!
