From Besties to Lovers: Keeping the Spark Alive with an Edgy Date Night Look
Hey there, fashion lovers! Are you ready to spice up your relationship with some exciting ideas? Look no further, because I'm about to spill the tea on how to keep things fresh and fun!
As my hubby and I have learned over our 12-year journey together, it takes more than just love to keep the fire burning. We make sure to indulge in activities that make us happy, whether it's taking a walk in the park, traveling, or trying out new food spots. The key is to keep things exciting!
Speaking of excitement, I surprised my hubby with tickets to a Nas concert, and I couldn't wait to put together some killer outfits for the occasion. I went for an edgy street-style look, with an all-black ensemble and a hint of white. And let me tell you, I had a blast putting these looks together!
To achieve my outfit, I shopped at Maniere De Voir, a UK-based business that has some incredible pieces. Although I saw mixed reviews online, the quality of their clothes was worth the risk. It took some time to figure out the sizing, but I was able to find pieces that fit us perfectly.
I wore a three-piece ensemble for my outfit, starting with a black crop top hoodie with leather sleeves and hood. I paired it with a high-leg reflective bodysuit and some reflective piped cargo pants. To complete the look, I wore my Stuart Weitzman sock high-heel booties, black sunglasses and my Prada re-edition 2005 re-nylon purse. For my hair and makeup, I decided to straighten my hair with a middle split, winged eyeliner, and Fenty nude lips with liner.
For my hubby's outfit, I got him an oversized fit t-shirt and paired it with a black cargo jacket and pants, finished off with some fresh white sneakers. It's the perfect look for a hip-hop concert!

But that's not all. We had so much fun doing a couple’s TikTok, where we transitioned into our new outfits. It was a bit challenging as we are newbies, but we love to take on a challenge!
