Styling Creepers: How I Rocked My New Shoes and Proved My Family Wrong!
Hey there, fellow fashion lovers! Today, I want to take you along on my journey to style my new creepers. Now, if you're wondering what creepers are, they're a type of shoe with thick crepe soles and suede uppers. They're super comfy, which is why I love platform shoes - I'm not always in the mood for heels, you know?
Anyway, I've always had my eye on creepers, but being on the shorter side, I wanted to make sure I could pull them off. So, I ordered a pair of Demonia dupes from NastyGal and couldn't wait to show them off to my family. Unfortunately, their reaction was not what I was hoping for. My daughter and husband thought they were hideous and urged me to return them. But, I had a vision for how to style them and convinced them to trust me.
Fast forward to our dinner date at Cellar 335 with my sisters and their husbands - the perfect opportunity to finally wear my creepers! I wanted to look stylish, yet comfy, so I paired them with a Superdown crop top t-shirt from Revolve, a black blazer, and drawstring trousers. When I showed my outfit to my family, they were surprised by how good it looked and admitted that I proved them wrong.
