Valentine’s Day Fashion Inspo: What I Wore to My Dinner Date

Hey there, fashion lovers! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loved ones. Mine was amazing! My hubby surprised me with a special dinner date in New York City, and I couldn't wait to share my outfit details with you.

Since we had a gym session earlier in the day, I wanted a low-maintenance hairstyle and makeup look. I slicked my hair into a high ponytail using ponytail extensions and opted for a quick and easy makeup look with a BB cream, Fenty highlighter, and lip gloss.

Now, let's talk about the outfit! I went for a black mock neck short sleeve crop top from Zara's and paired it with my black Steve Madden leather knee-high boots. To switch things up, I created three different looks and shared them on TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Look 1 featured my GRLFRND cargo jeans from Revolve, which are super comfortable and versatile. Cargo jeans are a must-have piece in every fashionista's wardrobe.

For Look 2, I went with my green plaid trousers from Nasty Gal. I love the vibrant green shade, which added a pop of color to my all-black ensemble.

Look 3 was all about the pleather skirt from Garage Clothing. It was a fun and flirty option that made me feel sexy and confident.

As much as I loved all the looks, I had to choose just one for my dinner date. Look 1 was too casual, and Look 3 was too sexy for a Tuesday evening. The winner was Look 2 - the green plaid trousers paired with a black blazer, a velvet envelope clutch, and my favorite Leanne reversible faux leather coat from Generation Love.

I felt powerful, elegant, and edgy in this outfit. What do you think? Which look would you have chosen? Let me know in the comments below, and stay tuned for my next blog post, where I'll be sharing some dinner recommendations.

Until then, stay stylish and keep slaying!
